Meet Sam and Laurence (Loz to his friends and trusting clientele).
In fact, meet Sam, Loz, Esmé and Zaana Peacock, four stakeholders in a business providing critical First Aid Training to Commercial and Public organisations throughout Plymouth and the South-West.
Having met at Saltash Leisure Centre, where both worked as lifeguards (Sam: “they would top up the first aid training every two weeks”), Sam and Loz’s adventure began back in 2009. Laurence supplemented his extensive First Aid knowledge with additional training and qualified as an instructor. Laurence’s Dad bought him his first set of manakins in 2011 and White Cross First Aid was born. Back then though, with other priorities, Laurence delivered just a few courses a year.
Sam and Loz were married in 2013, Esmé came along in 2018, and Zaana in 2021. And after that, with the end of maternity leave looming and the desire to work for themselves, the business was relaunched as White Cross Training early in 2022.
Fast forward to the present day, and things are going from strength to strength. Over the next few months, White Cross Training will be working with CRM Champion to implement a training-oriented CRM system which will take their customer management and marketing processes to the next level.
CRM Champion will be working with Sam and Loz to implement many features; including, trainee administration, course and calendar management, data driven email marketing, and a dashboard system to review business critical reports in real-time.
Sam told me “I cannot wait to start working with CRM Champion; this system is going to provide us with more time to work on developing the business further and spending more time together as a family. It’s going to really help us to progress.”
White Cross Training came into being because Sam and Loz believe everyone needs to know how to save lives; first aid training should be available to all, and hands-on training is the best way to learn.
